Your Responsibilities:

 

  • You define and evolve the overarching brand, communications, media and marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals and market dynamics
  • You lead and inspire a high-performing team (4 direct + 16 indirect reports), fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous development
  • You translate strategic objectives into innovative marketing campaigns, go-to-market plans, and compelling content across all markets ensuring consistent storytelling and messaging
  • You drive budget allocation and prioritization, ensuring optimal use of resources while maximizing marketing impact
  • You manage media relations as well as product and corporate communication for smart in Europe to achieve strong media presence and positive PR coverage
  • You own and steer agency relationships, contributing to high-quality brand development, paid media performance, and creative output
  • You own the regional marketing role, aligning with global marketing on European needs, while supporting eleven individual markets with a strong focus on performance marketing and marketing automation
  • You lead the development of messaging and positioning frameworks for product launches and ongoing lifecycle communication
  • You serve as a strategic partner across departments, connecting brand purpose with customer needs to enable consistent and powerful brand experiences

 

What you bring along:

 

  • A master’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field
  • Extensive experience in brand, product, and digital marketing at a regional or global level, ideally within the automotive or mobility sector
  • Strong senior leadership experience, including managing senior managers and cross-functional teams across multiple countries
  • Proven expertise in building and executing integrated marketing strategies that combine brand, performance marketing, content, and digital media
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills with the ability to align diverse functions and markets behind a shared vision
  • Experience in budget ownership, resource prioritization, and delivering measurable business outcomes
  • A rare blend of analytical thinking and creative vision, enabling you to translate insights into compelling storytelling and impactful marketing performance
  • You thrive in strategic leadership roles that require hands-on execution in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Fluency in English; international experience or multilingual skills are a strong plus
