About the Job

We’re looking for an experience IT Portfolio Manager based in Germany, to oversee a portfolio of IT projects across Europe. As an IT Portfolio Manager, you will drive the strategic alignment, efficient execution, and successful delivery of smart Europe’s IT projects.

Your responsibilities

• You will collaborate with senior executives and business leaders to align IT projects with the company's strategic objectives
• You are in charge or evaluating potential IT projects based on their alignment with business strategy, estimated ROI, and resource requirements
• You allocate IT resources, including development teams, technical experts, and infrastructure, to support projects effectively
• You develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project success
• You use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed
• You provide regular updates on project status, address concerns, and manage expectations
• You’ll be responsible for streamlining workflows and enhance efficiency across projects
• You collaborate with finance and leadership teams to manage project budgets and resource allocation effectively

What you bring

• You have a Bachelors or master’s degree in a relevant field of Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline
• You bring 5+ years of professional experience managing IT projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and aligning projects with business goals is beneficial
• You bring strong knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis to manage project budgets and resources effectively (essential)
• You have strong IT Project Management experience in the Automotive industry
• You bring expert knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices (essential)
• You bring excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills (essential)
• You bring strong leadership skills
• You bring strong analytical skills to identify potential risks, solve complex problems, and make data-driven decisions
