Objective of the job:
As a Logistics Intern, you will be mainly planning and starting implementation the integration of freight forwarders to the smart Europe Outbound Logistics (OBL) processes (physical and IT), supporting system activities between SAP and Transport Management System (TMS) and supporting Logistics team with all relevant ramp-up activities e.g. finalize and activate damage claim processes.
Your responsibilities:
Integration of forwarders to the smart Europe OBL processes
- You will set-up a precise project plan for the forwarders integration
- You will align process steps with internal like IT, Legal Entities and external partners
- You will set-up integration meetings with all stakeholders
- Your responsibility will be documentation of integration meeting
- You will follow-up with tasks with stakeholders
- You will report success levels to the Logistics team
Support system activities between SAP and Transport Management System (TMS)
- You will ramp-up system Go Live documentation
- You will be finding out gaps in system and definition of priorities with relevant parties
- You will interact with markets to allow smooth ramp-up in different countries
Support Logistics team with all relevant ramp-up activities e.g. finalize and activate damage claim processes
- You will align process with different stakeholders
- You will execute first damage handling processes from start to end
- You will support other relevant transport topics for Go Live
What you bring along:
Education
- You are currently a student of Business Administration, Technical+Business Administration, Logistics or comparable studies
Knowledge / Functional Expertise
- You have very good knowledge in Logistics / Project and Process Management
- If you have automotive experience, it is a plus
- You are fluent in English (speaking and writing) - other languages especially German and Chinese are beneficial
- You are familiar with IT Systems especially - SAP/ Transport Management Systems / Microsoft Office incl. Teams
