Objective of job (abbreviated)
- Daily preparation of Reporting of Vehicle Tracking List and Daily pick-ups from Vehicle Preparation Centers
- Support in daily Logistics operations incl. direct contact with our carriers
- Actively support ramp-up processes of new forwarders, distributing vehicles to European agents via road or short sea
- Support system activities between SAP and Transport Management System (TMS)
- Support Logistics team with all relevant ramp-up activities e.g. finalize and activate damage claim processes
Task Description:
Daily preparation of Reportings of Vehicle Tracking List and Daily pick-ups from Vehicle Preparation Centers
- Update and validate daily updates and publish reports to smart EU receivers
- Further develop reports like leadtime measuring
Support in daily Logistics operations incl. direct contact with our carriers
- Coordinate with markets the pick-up plan from VPCs
- Track performance of trucking forwarders with the support of our KPI system
- Arrange emergency deliveries case by case
- Esclation management steering towards Managers/markets
Actively support ramp-up processes of new forwarders, distributing vehicles to European agents via road or short sea
- Set-up a precise project plan for the forwarders integration
- Align process steps with internal like IT, Legal Entities and external partners
- Set-up integration meetings with all stakeholders
- Documentation of integration meeting
- Follow-up of tasks with stakeholders
- Report success levels to the Logistics team
Support system activities between SAP and Transport Management System (TMS)
- Ramp-up of system Go Live documentation
- Finding out gaps in system and definition of priorities with relevant parties
- Interaction with markets to allow smooth ramp-up in different countries
Support Logistics team with all relevant activities e.g. finalize and activate damage claim processes
- Align process with different stakeholders
- Execute first damage handling processes from start to end
- Support other relevant transport topics
Education
Student in Business Administration, Technical+Business Administration, Logistics or comparable studies
Knowledge / Functional Expertise
Very good knowledge in Logistics / Project and Process Management
Automotive experience preferable
Languages: Fluent in English (speaking and writing) - other languages especially German and Chinese are beneficial
IT Systems especially - SAP/ Transport Management Systems / Microsoft Office incl. Teams
