Abourt the role:

 

The Intern for Procurement will support the procurement team of the smart Europe GmbH. The main responsibilities will cover supporting digital procurement solution development and implementation incl. supplier portal development, supplier due diligence digitalization and supplier relationship management. In addition, supporting procurement daily operations is a plus.

 

 

Your responsibilities:

 

Digital Procurement support

 

  • Support the SOW finalization of digital procurement solution
  • Support for supplier selection assessment for digital procurement solution
  • Support for project management of digital procurement solution development
  • Support for digital procurement solution go live, incl. training

 

 

Operations

 

  • Support the daily operational procurement projects
  • Keeping track of procurement requests / activities
  • Meeting facilitation
  • Supplier due diligence result collection and analysis
  • Procurement documents follow up and tracking e.g. NDA and contracts

 

 

What you bring along:

 

  • University degree or studying towards one in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration with major in Supply Chain Management, computer science, informatics or comparable degree
  • Experience with Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or IT development
  • Knowledge of Procurement processes
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of software development
 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills (ability to manage multiple tasks)
  • Logical and structured thinking
  • Ability to work under pressure and to solve the problems
  • Fluent in English and preferably also in German and Chinese
