Objective of job 

You are responsible to manage and further extend the B2B and fleet business for the electric car brand smart in Germany. By proactively managing relationships with national key accounts and being the contact person for our retail network, you build trust and awareness for our brand. With identifying new growth opportunities and sales channels you will help achieving our volume targets. You are responsible for the fleet sales volume and continuous improvement of overall B2B and fleet processes. Travel in Germany is necessary.

Key Account Manager Germany (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

  • You work closely with the European HQ and the German sales team to achieve the German B2B sales targets.
  • You win new B2B fleet customers and take care of existing ones. You negotiate framework agreements with large companies, create pricing conditions, and ensure long-term fleet sales for smart Germany.
  • You prepare and carry out customer and dealer visits and build strong, long-term relationships with all stakeholders.
  • You prepare and lead regular B2B sales target meetings with German dealers. You also define, implement, and continuously improve B2B processes.
  • You ensure smooth and efficient B2B processes and work closely with Operations, Controlling, and Logistics. You also create an annual plan for your sales targets.
  • You actively connect with dealers through regular visits, sales updates, and sharing best practices. You are the main contact for fleet sales managers and fleet sales representatives.
  • You represent the brand at customer locations and at events.

Qualifications:

Education

Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or a comparable qualification.

Knowledge / Functional Expertise

  • You are able to speak and write German and English fluently. 
  • Work experience in the automotive industry as District Manager, Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or in comparable roles.
  • Demonstrated track record in developing strategic, B2B relationships within large organizations & dealers' networks.
  • Experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce), as well as PowerPoint and Excel is a plus.
  • You have a passion for electromobility and ideally automotive experience.
