About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Operations Manager to lead the Aftersales Service Operations activities across Europe. The successful candidate will report directly to smart Europe’s Head of Aftersales Strategy and Products and will lead a team that drives operational excellence, strategically expands our services and products portfolio across Europe in order to influence revenue growth.

 

Your responsibilities

 

  • You are part of an agile, cross-functional team focused on delivering digitalised and lean processes
  • You will drive smart Europe to exceed customer service with tailored Aftersales services and products development
  • You challenge the status quo and develop tools and methods for pragmatic yet smart digital solutions to handle customer requests
  • You will take customer service to the next level with designing state of the art service contract offering and herewith ensuring an important revenue stream
  • You will ensure knowledge management throughout the Aftersales area to enhance customer service
  • You will lead a small and agile team in tackling the most important trends in customer service
  • You collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and finance to identify and pursue new market opportunities

 

What you Bring

 

  • You have a degree in business administration, communications management business informatics or a comparable qualification.
  • You have 5+ years of experience in the area of product management or service operations in a leading consultancy/ Automotive industry (ideally in a start-up environment within automotive).
  • You bring strong knowledge and experience of workshop and after-sales processes in the automotive industry.
  • You have an independent, goal-oriented and well-structured way of working, with excellent analytical skills and a structured way of thinking. 
  • You bring experience in managing, motivating and developing a small team of three.
  • You love working in a complex, dynamic and international environment with an agile culture.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (German, Mandarin or other European language is a plus).
  • You respond calmly in stressful situations and effectively manage multiple priorities & shorter deadlines.
