Your responsibilities:

Strategic & Market Representation

  • Represent the German market within the pan-European team, ensuring local needs are reflected in the overall digital sales strategy.
  • Co-create the digital sales- und marketing strategy, media plan, and allocate local marketing budgets.
  • Develop the annual communication strategy and marketing plan, including relevant KPIs, to achieve business targets.
  • Identify local market opportunities (e.g., co-branding, influencers) and collaborate with Central Marketing to leverage cross-market synergies.

Communication & Campaign Management

  • Implement the European communication strategy at a national level to support product launches, sales targets, and brand objectives.
  • Collaborating with the EU campaign management team to strategically design campaigns across both owned and paid media channels.
  • Ensure brand consistency and campaign efficiency by working closely with central marketing at smart Europe.
  • Steer creative agencies to develop looks, visuals, and concepts for sales push campaigns, providing market and performance insights.
  • Manage marketing campaigns across the local eCommerce platform, website, and other owned media channels, ensuring compliance with language and legal requirements.
  • Oversee the development of new landing pages for each campaign and evaluate UAT (user acceptance testing) to optimize offer communication.
  • Approve all newsletters before distribution and oversee the overall email marketing communications plan.

Media & Digital Marketing

  • Steer media agency and co-manage social, search, and display advertising, including page performance optimization, to drive leads into the sales funnel.
  • Collaborating closely with the campaign management and central marketing media teams to fully leverage the potential of paid media campaigns.
  • Continuously monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance against KPIs, implementing action plans to improve conversion rates and overall digital effectiveness.
  • Assessing the potential of new channels to enhance the marketing mix.

 

Events, Partnerships & Sponsorships:

  • Manage agencies to execute central event concepts, sponsorships, and partnership activities such as roadshows, auto shows, and test drive events in Germany.
  • Proactively support partnership initiatives and explore influencer collaborations in alignment with both local and central strategies.
  • Manage existing partnerships with a focus on upcoming opportunities and potential renewals

    Compliance & Legal Alignment
  • Work closely with the legal department to manage disclaimers and ensure compliance for specific discount offerings and campaign communications.
