About the Job:

 

The Network Manager will support the Head of Network in establishing and steering an optimized and profitable smart agent network in all European marketes, including but not limited to: network planning in close alignment with the markets, translating the smart business model into appropriate agent contracts, contract alignment with dealer associations, support of audit & remuneration processes, etc. This role shall also support the rollout and steering of a genuine agent model in selected European markets.

 

Your Responsibilities:

 

Network Strategy & Investor Relations

  • Definition & Creation of smart agent contracts based on the applicable smart business model in the respective marketSupport meetings and negotiations with the dealer associations
  • Support meetings with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. MBAG, third-party suppliers, General Distributors etc.)
  • Align individual market requirements with Network Managers in the markets
  • Support markets in steering and developing a profitable agent sales network in their market
  • Analyze existing agent networks and derive network optimization measures in alignment with the markets
  • Support evaluation of new Point of Sales and Investors
  • Closely align with MBAG counterparts for the definition and steering of the smart Aftersales network

 

Risk Protection & Remuneration Implementation

  • Support and steer smart genuine agent markets in the risk protection assessment
  • Support the implementation of the agent remuneration structure and processes in close alignment with Finance and the markets  

 

What you bring:

 

Education

  • Bachelor degree or above in business, marketing, economics, commercial law or a comparable degree

 

Professional Experience

  • 5 years or above experience in automotive (luxury) industry, preferred in network development or sales (or similar area)
  • Experience in a joint venture context would be benefitial
     

Knowledge / Functional Expertise

  • Experience in network strategy and planning
  • Knowledge about dealer/agent operations incl. knowledge about direct sales approach
  • Experience in negotiating and maintaining good relationship with investors/dealers/agents  
  • Experience in contract and dealer/agent standard creation and remuneration system
  • Experience in Global/European Market management
  • Experience in project management

 

Key Competencies / Soft Skills

  • Experience in leading and inspiring cross functional and international teams
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and numeric skills with a results oriented personality
  • Confident and effective negotiator - able to consistently reach positive outcomes while building positive internal and external relationships
  • Business fluent written and oral communication skills in English, fluent in German or other European language is a plus
