Your responsibilities:

  • Align parts logistics processes with Joint Venture in China and EU local parts suppliers  
  • Align sales processes with corporate customers and EU local entities
  • Establish claims processes with Global Logistics Center, Joint Venture in China and EU local parts suppliers
  • Integrate other business partners/ 3rd parties (e.g. EU local parts suppliers, customs broker, 3PL-Central warehouse, delivery quality claims provider)
  • Secure system readiness and enhancement for SAP ERP-usage and support vehicle market launch
  • Design, steer and continuously develop parts logistics processes to ensure availability of spare parts in all EU countries
  • Process incoming scheduled orders and purchase orders, review and forward to Joint Venture in China or EU local parts suppliers. Ensure order follow-up tracking and proper communication with all relevant parties  
  • Invoice shipments after customs clearance respectively upon delivery
  • Organize claims processing with Global Logistics Center, delivery quality claims provider, Joint Venture in China and EU local parts suppliers
  • Respond to parts technical inquiries party and clarify with Joint Venture in China, if necessary
  • Pro-actively manage inventory management of the China sourced parts incl. conducting a forecast planning
  • Attend to occurring issues immediately and solve together with business partners (e.g. Joint Venture in China, EU local parts suppliers, customs broker, 3PL-Central warehouse, delivery quality claims provider etc.)
  • Support internal departments e.g. Sales, Product Management, Vehicle Logistics, Finance & Controlling, Legal & Compliance and Procurement etc. continuously
     

What you bring along

  • Sound knowledge of SAP S4/HANA supply chain management and/ or other SAP-based ERP-system
  • Outstanding operational experience in the area of supply chain management preferably in automotive Aftersales/ automotive spare parts logistics (3+ years)
  • Deep understanding of international procurement, importation and sales processes, new processes set-up and optimization
  • Experience with international and diverse cross-cultural environment ideally gained within the automotive sector  
  • Very good English language skills, ideally also fluent in German and another European language or Chinese
