Strategy development

 

  • Lead development and implementation of effective sourcing strategies focusing on Professional Service and Facility Management, in order to ensure quality of services and significant cost reductions
  • Lead preparation and conducting tenders in a timely manner driving cost reductions and improvement of the quality of services 
  • Investigate and analyse the market, and seek new suppliers who may qualify to do business with smart Europe
  • Contribute towards Purchasing excellence and customer satisfaction


Negotiation and contract management

 

  • Negotiate and select the best suppliers specifying quality, quantity and other requirements
  • Regularly review and monitor contract status and suppliers’ deliveries
  • Identify and resolve supply chain issues or lead escalation of topics, if required
  • Ensure transparency in carrying out execution purchasing procedure


Relationship management and protect against supply chain constraint issues

 

  • Define development strategies with identified external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • 100% solve supply chain constraints issues and communicate impact with relevant stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain close relationship with internal stakeholders and external partners, act as key commercial contact on behalf of procurement.

 

Qualification

 

EducationEducation

 

  • University degree in Economics, Management or Engineering / technical area or comparable degree

 

Professional Experience

 

  • >5 years of experience in purchasing or comparable fields
  • Familiar with purchase to pay process
  • Working experience in multination/multicultural projects
  • Experience in professional service and facility management is a plus

 

Knowledge / Functional Expertise

 

  • IT-knowledge (MS Office + SAP MM module)
  • Legal knowledge (commercial law, product liability)
  • Ability to understand technical details of relevant commodities
  • Knowledge of other eProcurement solutions or AI technology is a plus

 

Key Competencies / Soft Skills

 

  • English proficiency at negotiation level both in writing and verbally. Other languages are a plus
  • Proven track of excellent negotiation results
  • Strong problem solving skill and logical thinking
  • Strong business acumen to quickly understand and act effectively in complex business scenarios
