About the role:

We’re looking for Senior Procurement Specialist focused on Professional Services for Marketing, Sales & Events. The successful candidate will support smart Europe’s sourcing of all assigned commodities in alignment with the business partners at optimal cost, ensuring the required quality, innovation, timelines and quantities.

Your Responsibilities:

• Act as first point of contact for business partners and ensure effective application of negotiation tools and strategies
• You will ensure clear communication and compliance of relevant law, regulations and guidelines
• You will ensure efficient and effective sourcing processes securing optimal pricing for defined quality, innovation, timelines and quantities
• You ensure Procurement’s representations in relevant projects, continuously enhancing Procurement tools, processes and structures
• Support Procurement in developing and implementing smart Europe GmbH's Procurement strategies together with the business partners
• You perform continuous screening of supplier markets and the continuous alignment of sourcing roadmaps with business strategy

What you bring along:

• You have a university degree in Economics, Business Administration or comparable degree
• You bring 3+ years of relevant working experience in procurement of ‘Professional Services’ preferably in the areas of Sales, Marketing and Events
• You have a high degree of commercial awareness
• You bring working knowledge of eProcurement solutions (e.g. Ariba, Coupa etc)
• You are results driven and bring excellent analytical skills
• You bring excellent written and verbal communication skills (English is a must) with an ability to work well with diverse stakeholders/business partners and team members across Europe
