About the Job:

This position sits within the European R&D support team and is responsible for ensuring the registration of vehicles in each one of our European markets. The successful candidate will work closely with smart China’s R&D team to gather the necessary data and information.

As a Vehicle Data Management Specialist, you will be responsible for providing vehicle data in electronic and physical format in close cooperation with the HQ RD team, market representatives and suppliers. In addition, you will support the homologation team in other internal activities necessary to maintain type approval.

Responsibilities:

· You’ll be responsible for providing the vehicle data in an electronic format (IVI file) to every European market

· You’ll support process improvements for receiving vehicle data in coordination with a dedicated European service provider and the factory in China

· You’ll focus on continuously improving the quality of the electronic vehicle data received

· You’ll be responsible for managing the database system

· You support the European service provider with coordination of vehicle data

· You are the point of contact for internal activities related to maintaining type approval for HX11 and HC11

What you bring:

· You bring a bachelor’s degree or higher education qualification in Engineering, Analytics, EE, Technical or equivalent experience

· You bring strong knowledge and interest in vehicle data management (CoC-data and vehicle type data IVI file)

· You must have work experience in research and development within the Automotive OEM space

· You bring working experience with MS office tools i.e Excel, PPT (PowerShell scripting is advantageous)

· You have basic knowledge of homologation (this is a plus)
