This is an opportunity for an experienced industry ‘Technical Services Manager’, to ensure successful setup of After-Sales operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring top quality Dealer Support via our Retail Engagement Center.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to support the delivery of the following business areas: Technical Support, Recalls & Field Measures, Product Liability, Diagnose, Workshop Information, User Manuals, Special Tools & Workshop Equipment, OTA, HV Battery Lifecycle and Independent Workshops.

 

 

Your Responsibilities include:

 

  • You will provide management, motivation and development opportunities for your team
  • You will take the lead on concept development, process implementation and continuous improvements to ensure a smooth After –Sales Operations across our network
  • You will set up a centralized first level support for ‘all after sales’ relevant retailer questions
  • You will provide second level support for the European smart Network for technical vehicle issues
  • You will ensure swift handling of warranty claims, including pre-approvals and technical alignment activities
  • You will produce performance reports against agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as required
  • You will ensure that lessons learned from technical issues are communicated across all product/customer platforms
  • You will align possible field actions with QM & R&D and analyse technical field issues for potential risks for customer
  • You will develop a comprehensive HV Battery lifecycle ensuring compliance to local legal requirements across Europe
  • You will ensure availability of workshop documentation for authorized and independent retailers across Europe

 

 

What you bring:

 

  • You bring 3+ years of functional leadership experience e.g. projects or teams
  • You bring 5+ years of automotive After Sales experience
  • You bring 7+ years of overall professional experience
  • You bring automotive technical know-how, preferably with electrical vehicles
  • You bring knowledge about automotive warranty and R&D processes
  • You possess excellent communication and presentation skills in English (German is a plus)
  • You bring analytical-structured thinking and way of working
  • You are highly independent, responsible and self-reliant
  • You bring strong intercultural competence and strong negotiation skills
  • You bring a Bachelor / Master in engineering or comparable field
