About the role:

As a UI/UX product owner, your main responsibilities include defining and prioritizing user interface and user experience requirements for a product or project. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, such as designers, developers, and product managers, to ensure that the final product meets user needs and business goals. Your role involves conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and collaborating on design decisions. Additionally, you will be responsible for testing and iterating on designs to continuously improve the user experience. Overall, your goal is to champion the user's perspective throughout the product development process.

Your responsibilities:

UX/UI prioritization and management

• Define and prioritize user interface and user experience requirements based on user research, business goals, and technical constraints
• Manage and prioritize the design backlog
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as designers, developers, and product managers, to ensure alignment on design decisions and project goals.
• Ensure consistency in design elements and user interactions across different platforms and devices.
• Advocate for the user's perspective and championing user-centered design principles throughout the product development process.
• Monitor and analyse user metrics and feedback to identify opportunities for design enhancements and optimizations.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure that design specifications are implemented accurately and effectively
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UI/UX design to drive innovation and excellence in product design.
• Conduct user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and feedback for design improvements (optional)

Steer design team on agency side:

• Steer and brief agencies to create new and updated designs
• Manage relationships with external agencies, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective execution of UX/UI Concepts for the Website
• Monitor agency performance, provide feedback, and drive continuous improvement

Process Optimization

• Ensure a user-centered design process
• Continuously adapt and improve processes to business strategies and to increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Set up Workflows in JIRA according to the collaboration set up with designers and development teams

What you bring along:

Education

• Bachelor degree or above in UX/UI, Digital Marketing or similar

Professional Experience

• 3 years or above experience in UX/UI, Digital Marketing, Marketing Communications or similar
• Experience in managing complex and agile projects with focus on UX/UI

Knowledge / Functional Expertise

• Profound Experience in using tools like figma, JIRA and confluence
• Knowledge/experience in agile project management
• Scrum Master is a plus
• Knowledge in automotive and Adobe Experience Manager is a plus
• Experience in Agency Steering is a plus

• Able to work independent and self-manage the daily activity
• Fluent language skills in English, in German or other European language is a plus
