About the Role: 

 

At smart Netherlands, we are looking for a Dutch speaking Sales Operations Specialist who has a hands-on mentality and a passion for process optimization, sales support, customer satisfaction and attention to detail.   

This role is part of our ‘Sales planning & Logistics’ team and plays a pivotal role in streamlining our sales operations processes, helping to increase revenue, improve overall efficiency and customer satisfaction. 

 

What You'll Do:  

 

  • You will oversee order management from A to Z i.e. recording, tracking, and fulfilling customer orders. Managing and keeping up to date order systems like Leaselink, NCO and SAP. 

  • You will manage the administrative handling of sales transactions and updating customer records. 

  • You will be supporting and ensuring the accuracy of the sales administration data. 

  • You will analyze data from sales teams to identify insights and create reports that can guide our sales strategy. 

  • You will have the opportunity to lead on optimizing operational processes. 

  • You will work cross-functionally to resolve/answer queries from sales team colleagues across various locations. 

  • You will work closely with our Logistics teams to ensure a smooth product delivery journey. 

  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth sales operations. 

  • Conduct market research to support sales initiatives. 

  • Coordinating the sales support team and task performed by the customer engagement center 

  • Manage sales incentives and commission programs. 

  • Coordinate sales training and onboarding programs. 

  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly. 

 

What You Bring: 

 

  • You bring a bachelor´s degree / Higher education higher education (HBO) in a relevant field of Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related discipline. 

  • You bring 2+ years of professional work experience in a similar administrative/Operations support role. 

  • You must have a keen interest in ‘Data Analysis’ and ‘Reporting’. 

  • You bring competency in understanding business goals and converting them into data collection requirements. 

  • You bring excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.  

  • You can demonstrate the ability to interact with stakeholders, manage expectations, and facilitate collaboration. 

  • You bring experience in working with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce (a plus). 

  • Experience in scale-up organizations is a bonus. 

  • You must bring excellent written and oral communication skills in Dutch and English.
