Task Description:

Fleet Sales

  • Responsible for defining and monitoring fleet sales targets and KPIs 
  • Define smart segmentation for the B2B market in PT and identify target segments. Prioritise customers and target segments based on overall impact on profitability.
  • Establish and develop relationships with key fleet customers in the market. Prospect and acquire new B2B customers and negotiate high-level sales framework agreements with large leasing and financial organisations.
  • Work with the fleet teams of our retail partners to exploit sales through their channels. Ensure retailers have the appropriate tools and processes to support this.
  • Work with financial services partner to exploit sales through their channels and existing customers.
  • Work with the central European fleet team to identify any pan-European opportunities
  • Implementation and continuous improvement of the fleet process for national B2B Customer based on the European guidelines.
  • Propose and initiate local marketing activities to support B2B sales objectives 

 

Remarketing

  • Develop and manage the Certified Pre-Owned programme for the smart retailer network to maximise used car values and deliver profitability for retailers.
  • Ensure take up from all retailers with adherence to standards.
  • Support retailers with development of CPO tools and marketing initiatives
  • Work with European team to ensure that appropriate extended warranty programmes are developed and rolled out
  • Manage relationship with provider of data for online customer trade in valuation tool and ensure values are set are an appropriate level
  • Proactively monitor health of used car market (volume, stock, margins) to pre-empt any RV issues
  • Manage relationships with RV setters to maximise residual values for the smart product, including lease company asset managers.
  • Establish remarketing platform for end of lease vehicles from other leasing companies to be retained within the smart network as a priority.

 

Forecasting and Reporting

  • Develop sales and ordering forecasts based on area trends, planned campaigns and accounts feedback.
  • Manage delivery against forecast on an ongoing basis and identify any issues/corrective actions required
  • Design and deliver accurate reports on sales results

 

Representation

  • Represent and promote the smart brand within the fleet industry
  • Act as a main point of contact for retailers on fleet and used car topics
  • Build strong long-term relationships with key fleet customers and retailer fleet teams
  • Represent the brand at the customer, retailer and industry event

 

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor degree or similar studies in business, economics, or a comparable degree

 

Professional Experience

  • 4 years or above experience in automotive industry as Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, Used Car business
  • Experience of working with major automotive retailer groups
  • Excellence experience in transforming sales targets to action plans and successful results
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Experience in implementing profitable strategies and steering accounts with proven practical experience as user and/or author of USP’s for Key Accounts / fleet customers in a related field

 

Knowledge / Functional Expertise

  • Excellent knowledge
  • Passion for the energectic transition and electric mobility
  • Understanding of complex contracts/tenders and their handling
  • Proven track record of Business Development in the automotive industry or a related industry and/or comparable B2B sector
  • Familiarity with diverse business functions, such as: Sales, Used Car sales and processes, Marketing, Network, etc.
  • Have a deep understanding of new retail, customer behavior and expectations and digital transformation
