About the Job:

 

The processing center specialist will follow up on vehicles arriving at the Port in Zeebrugge (VPC), and needing to be shipped to different countries in Europe. Daily following up on updating of vehicles via OTA, PDI and repairs, troubleshooting and reporting of issues when needed, ensuring to reach KPI’s and improving the quality of the product, proposing better workflows to increase capacity.

 

 

Your Responsibilities: 

 

Ramp Up Activity

Develop solutions in a very dynamic environment between different cultures and mindsets in the context of a Joint Venture.

 

Operations

  • Ensure smooth process to update vehicle software via OTA (Over-the-air update).
  • Operate OTA platform and export reports.
  • Ensure smooth process to PDI and repair vehicles.
  • Ensure required parts are available to conduct repairs.
  • Troubleshoot, report and follow up on potential issues.
  • Interface with local suppliers for swift operations.
  • Propose process improvements
  • Act as central point of contact regarding operations in VPC (Vehicle Preparation Centre – Port in Zeebrugge).
  • Take on ad-hoc tasks

 

 

What you offer:

 

  • University degree in Engineering or Equal by Experience.
  • Strong interest in new software updating and mechanics in automotive area.
  • Experience in Management or implementation of solutions in a production enviroment
  • Good Automotive technical understanding, preferably also of electrical vehicles.
  • Knowledge and understanding of customer dedication and workshop repair methods
  • Good IT skills and understanding on data management principles
  • Project experience is an asset
  • Self-driven and out-of-the-box working way
  • Excellent organization skills (ability to manage multiple tasks)
  • Strong commitment and positive work ethic in order to deliver results within tight deadlines
  • Very good English skills, ideally also fluent in Dutch.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including writing routine reports, presentations and correspondence
