 About the Job:

This role is based in the Port of Zeebrugge (Belgium) at our Vehicle Preparation Center (VPC). The Vehicle Diagnosis & Connected Solutions Specialist will play an important operational role in supporting vehicles arriving in Zeebrugge and needing to be shipped to different countries in Europe.

The successful candidate will follow up on the updating of vehicles via OTA, troubleshooting and reporting of issues when needed, ensuring we reach KPI’s, improving the quality of the product and proposing better workflows to increase capacity.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • You act as central point of contact regarding OTA operations in VPC Port in Zeebrugge
  • You ensure smooth process to update vehicle software via OTA (Over-the-air communication)
  • You’ll have the responsibility to operate our OTA platform and export reports
  • You’ll be able to troubleshoot, report and follow up on potential issues affecting daily operations
  • You’ll develop and lead on solutions in a very dynamic environment between different cultures and mindsets
  • You will be the point of contact for local suppliers and operations counterparts
  • You will support process improvements and finding efficiencies in the way we work
  • You’ll be our on the ground support, taking on ad-hoc tasks that drive impact and add value to our operations

 

What you bring along:

  • You have an experience of working in a similar VPC environment
  • You have a good Automotive technical understanding, ideally of electrical vehicles
  • You have knowledge and understanding of workshop repair operations/methods
  • You have experience in Management or implementation of solutions related to OTA
  • You have strong interest in new software updating mechanics in automotive area
  • You have good IT skills and understanding on data management principles
  • You are self-driven and out-of-the-box working way
  • You have excellent organization skills (ability to manage multiple tasks)
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You are fluent in English, ideally also fluent in Dutch
